If you want to find inner peace, Venice is a quiet and peacefull place.

The Hotel Monaco is very impressive, not only because it follows Venice's flow and exhibit contemporary art artists, but also because it brings us back in the past and allow us to discover part of Casanova's history.

From 1282 it was a Ridotto, it designed a place to which nobles in particular, but also all kinds of other people (adventurers, prostitutes, sharpers, travellers...) "reduced" themselves, in the sense of "withdrew", for various reasons: to gamble, to enjoy the favours of courtesans or to engage in social and political relations. Of course the word changed with the time and later on on the 16th century, it become more intellectual, in the sense of a "salon", in the theatres...

Giacomo Casanova's spirit is still in the hotel as he used to come in the Ridotto to gamble and used to leave by a small secret staircase when he could not pay.
The passage is still there, exhibit as part of the interior decoration of the hotel.

Not far from the hotel, you will find the best restaurant to eat Seppie Pasta: Osteria Da Carla, or you can try everything on the menu, it is fresh and delicious.

Another place, I recommend is Captain Uncino, a peaceful place in Campo S. Giacomo dell'Orio.
The cuisine here is a real family tradition, with "la Mama" in the kitchen. The food is beautifull and the wine list is impressive. The Giuseppe and Antonio Sardi brothers have create a homey atmosphere and in the end of the evening, they will enjoy making you a special "flambee" desert.
If you go there, do not look at the menu, ask them what they suggest. You will be very surprise. It is so... delicious!

If Beauty has the power to change our minds, Luxury is today a very powerful tool as it comes from light (Latin) and it's name owns this spirit and full meaning.

To be successful in China luxury brands need to be really luxury and bring this enlightenment as a soul to products. To succeed in China, you need a Chinese name that will reflect the soul of the brand and the quality and added value your product will bring to the society.

We are living in a world of consumption where we use to buy products that fill up our homes but have no souls.
To be successful in China brands have to give a soul to their products
A soul is a thought, an idea a spirit and not any spirit.

There are so many things you should know about China before thinking of developing your brand there, it will take more than one editorial to share my experience about entering luxury brands into the Chinese market.

China counts a population of 1.3 billion with over 120 million middle class consumers, 300 million netizens1 and 700 million mobile phone users

Forty seven satellites tv channels and 2000tv stations sending around 6000 tv channels

Geographically China is as big as Europe with a much larger population.
Like Europe China is divided in many distinct regions similar as our countries, with distinct geographies languages and different levels of development going from tiers 1 to 4*

As Europe, each Chinese Region has a distinct government ruling them, custom and clearance could be easier in some region than others.

Also Chinese from Beijing will never invest in Shanghai and Chinese from Shanghai will never invest in Beijing, that makes development very difficult for European companies without the right partner.

It is interesting to understand the difference between Hong Kong and Mainland China. Many brands are blocked in Hong Kong as they signed an exclusivity contract with some Chinese partners in Hong Kong but will never go to deep China. They will enter Macao, Taiwan but seldom they will access Shanghai and Beijing and be accepted by the real Chinese. Why? Chinese from Hong Kong and Chinese from Mainland are different and don’t like each others. Chinese from Hong Kong are considered by Mainland Chinese as outsiders and Chinese from Mainland are considered by Hong-Kong Chinese as peasant, non educated Chinese.

*Tiers 1 to 4 is the ranking of cities going to the most urban developed ones with the highest luxury goods consumption level to the most rural cities with lower consumption.

Only Tier 1 to Tier 2 are of interest to us for the moment and includes 41 cities. Tier 1, the big four, with Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen (this two last one are suffering from Hong Kong tax free system.

The 3 most luxury cities are ranking in top position of the 37 cities in Tiers 2: Hangzhou, Dalian and Chengdu. Wealthy people are enjoying life, not living in a busy city but in nice surrounding: ex: Hangzhou twin city with Nice for its “promenade des Anglais” aside to the beautiful lake.

What is the profile of a good Chinese partner ?

A right partner for a brand willing to develop in China, is an investor with the right network, meaning having partners in the top luxury Chinese big cities and good network including people in federal government and in governments of every cities.

A right partner is also someone powerful in China, not an isolated individual but a large group respected and honored by Chinese society and Chinese government.

This will secure your funding and development but also the fact that no one will dare to copy you or steal your know how, as your partner is powerful enough and will defend his own interest.

He has a deep knowledge of retail in China and owns a large real estate portfolio to develop flagships. He also owns medias: TV and magazines and invest in new medias.

The understanding of Chinese mind seems very difficult for European though westerners should be use to understand cultural differences: everyone is use to the difference making business with American, French, Italian, Swiss or German.

In front of Chinese people, everyone seems to get lost and need some help to get a better understanding.

Guided by Chinese thinker Confucius born on 551BC, Chinese society social value and behavior are defining everyone role from mother to business partner and consumer.

Respect is one of the most important value for Chinese.

Respect, trust and face are the best friends, if you have respect, you will trust the other not to make you loose face.
The understanding of face is very important in China where no one will do something to someone they do not want to get for themselves.
To maintain face we need the respect and consideration from other people.

There is many things to know before meeting your future partner / investor in China.

First you should forget all your past experiences as you cannot conquer China the way you conquered other markets. If you do, you will fail.

In China NO brands are known before entering in China, forget your fame and start from the beginning. It could be frustrating at the first thought but it is a brand new experience for you and your partner will trust you enough to give you all funding to make it happen the Chinese way.

The reason why China is so successful today is because their way of thinking and specially the way they can adapt themselves to all situation, not stopping in front of an obstacle but contouring it.

They know where they are, they know where they go, and no matter which way they will go to get there. The most important is to succeed.

Never forget that your goal is to develop your brand in China and to win part of market. Flexibility will be your highest quality.

Chinese are aware it takes 3 years of hard marketing after opening the 3 first flagships in Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou, they know this and they will invest massively in marketing.

As you have no time to learn how to become Chinese or to behave politely in China to succeed you will need a guide and you will need to accept to be guided.

As China development is going very fast and as many companies are expecting to find the right partner and factually there is less opportunities than brands, you definitely need help.

1. The way of presenting you and introducing your company.
The presentation of the company is very important and needs to be made totally differently from the other countries. The mission of the brand. The benefit the brand will bring to the Chinese society, the visibility the brand has on Baidu* are the most important.
Another important element is that the owner, CEO or the person representing the brand must have his own history. He needs to have a background and honors. If you want to go to China, you cannot send your development manager to meet the Chairman of the Chinese Group, this will show a lack of respect and you will break the brand image.
As at the emperor court you will be introduced solemnly to sit at the right of the Chairman. Your sitting place will be given to you and to each person of the group before the emperor will enter in the room
Very impressive as the room is always huge, empty except large clubs coach along the walls. After the chairman will introduce himself and give you some polite greetings, you will be invited to introduce yourself.

It is very rude to interrupt the presentation.

2. The way to participate to a dinner ceremony.
These dinners are very important in China as before doing any business Chinese needs to honor you in giving a dinner for you
they will never take you in public place. Eating in public place like western restaurant never occur in china. All restaurants have small private dinner rooms. Rich Chinese does not show off in front of other Chinese eating and drinking expensive wines. This is again the difference between Chinese from mainland and Hong Kong Chinese’s

You are not oblige to eat duck tongs if you do not like it, but you should drink with them to good ideas and show enthusiasm, pleasant person to be with.

Don’t forget, you will have to spend a lot of time and share moments with your partner and its team.

Chinese are not creative; they will give everything, funding, and team; but they need you and your team to bring the input and the creativity.

Trust and respect are the two major criteria to build a prosperous future with your Chinese counterpart. These dinners are important for them to see how you are as a person.

3. The way of presenting brochures and brand in a world where

a word, a number, a color or a picture could ruin your image.

Chinese communication is very different than Western communication.

You cannot take the risk going to China with a presentation brochure made for England or US.

Beside of the Chinese code of communication, there are a lot of things to know before communicating in China.

Chinese are very superstitious, numbers, colors… do not present any brochure before going to a specialized agency.

Pictures are very important in China as their own communication is pictures, Chinese characters are ideogram and each one is seen by the brain as a picture.
The respect and opinion from other people are as important to a brand user as his or her own feelings.
In other words a brand may also loose face.

Advertising in China is more the message the brand will give than the brand by itself. A logo does not ran anything if not convey by a message. Therefore if your brand is high end good for health, it will bring happiness and to succeed in China, you should say it.

Therefore all kind of jokes in advertisement should be seriously analyzed. When humor comes at the expense of another person it makes this person to loose face. This is unacceptable in china where humor is never taken 2nd degree.

What Chinese name for your Brand?
If you plan to enter the Chinese market another thing you need to adopt is a Chinese name for your brand.

It is interesting to look at brands you know as example:
BMW: Precious horse
Mercedes: Running
Johnson and Johnson: Strong Life
IKEA: Suitable for home
Pampers: Helping baby's comfort
If you don't have a Chinese name that convey a feeling adding something to Chinese well being you will have less chance to succeed in Mainland China. Also if you choose a name not fitting right to the product or if the product mission is far different from the name you may have a signature campaign against the Chinese name. The best way is to ask your partner to find it for you. It will clearly express the way Chinese will perceive the brand.

Following the influence of Confucius. Chinese will never exhibit themselves as individualist, they will always work in team and make low profile giving the success of their effort to the company, the group and their social circle.
Promoting a brand in China should really reflect this concept and profit should not be only for the brand but give a plus value to the Chinese society.
The success of an hero has to contributed being channeled into a collective success.
In China you can only be a hero if you are low profile. Self sacrificed hero associated to the brands make a brand successful.
It is not enough to advertise a logo a brand you need a story a message
First the message second the brand.
A brand advertising the wrong way will risk its popularity and its credibility.
Chinese consumer wants to be individual but not to be alienate from the people around him.

Will China continue its Westernization?
China has an ancestral culture and this understanding is very important for brands willing to enter the market. The ability to change fast to understand the culture and to understand we should not always impose our culture. Are we really an example? The addition of our Luxury expertise to their brilliant culture should really give the brands the possibility to come to China with a real creativity potential given to adaptation to the Chinese culture. This has to be planned, as today Chinese consumer wants the best we have and later they will come back to their very deep root.

This will happen by itself, smoothly, not by imposing them a designer coming from Hong-Kong or Europe, not by pretending yourself knowing their culture.*

If today the Chinese consumer is looking for European Luxury, tomorrow he will ask the European luxury and high end quality adapted to its culture. A good European luxury brand leader will need to understand this adaptation and trust his partner enough to let him choose the real Chinese designer for the continuity of the development of the brand in China.

Don’t forget that nothing stays the same way, and Chinese are showing us the way to go with the wind and adapt ourselves to changes. Flexibility is the key of success in China and also a wise teaching to apply in each situation. Be ready for changes.

Many breakthroughs have helped to understand olfactory mechanisms, physiological and psychological responses. RESPECT IS THE ONLY WORD FOR CHINA

If you don't know the meaning of "Respect" don't go to China. I have been crossing so many expat in China, living like the colonialism time. This period is revocated. We are in a new erea. If you can mix with Chinese instead of expat it will be much better for your image as many expats should still learn about respecting other people, other culture and get a bad image due to their wrong behaviour in China.

I love human being and I tried to understand why a Belgian Minister never answered to a Chinese Minister proposing an exchange program between Brussels and Shanghai. Why do we consider ourselves European, superior to this ancestral Chinese culture. How can someone could behave so badly not showing off to an official meeting and even not apologised.

I have been working with Chinese people since one year and I am so impressed by everything I could learn from them in matter of respect, behaviour, they seem like another planet to me, an untouched civilisation or culture... They respect each other and have the deepest respect for you if you consider them that way too. They seem like untouched by our devils, our sins. We lost our faith.

So untouched and so naif they were invaded by our gods, the Chanel, Dior... our fake gods, made in China...

They really believed they should associate their image to this. This was the start of looking like us, the Europeans. But what they ignore was our European civilisation was totally falling down...

China stand on its feet and look to the future, talk about the future for their kids, the next generation. They are at the start of their own erea. We are at the end of ours. If Chanel, Dior... where looking for a paradise to grasp the first the advantage of being there, they won't last if Respect is not in their vocabulary.

As luxury brands expand across the globe, their regional offices in fast-growing markets also swell in size and staff numbers. With this comes a shifting of the creative centre of gravity and a dispersal of responsibilities that can occasionally cause a controversy – like the one that Christian Dior finds itself in now. The brand is being accused in China of approving offensive and possibly racist imagery, says a writer for The Daily Mail. A series of photos taken by a Chinese-born, New York-based photographer presented white and non-Asian models wearing the brand’s finery surrounded by what appeared to be identical Chinese models (or possibly a graphical reproduction of the same model) in utilitarian workwear styles. The newspaper quoted one Chinese blogger who it said had summed up the collective grievance: “Are you saying all Chinese people look the same?”

For his part, the photographer went on the record to defend his work by explaining that he, “wanted to show the power of Chinese people standing together and a kind of socialism in Chinese history,” and that his idea was for the Chinese models in the photos was to serve as, ”symbols of Chinese history between the 1960s and 1980s.” But many in China and beyond continue to interpret the images as evidence that there is either widespread Orientalism alive at Christian Dior, or worse, that a sense of Western superiority pervades the wider fashion and luxury goods industries.

Jenny Zhang, a columnist for The Guardian, was adamant that, “Dior and Galliano should know better than to commission these photographs for their Shanghai storefront… If fantasy is part of the appeal of fashion, then wouldn’t it be worthwhile for Dior, Chanel, and other couture houses to figure out how Chinese people fantasise and see themselves? Surely, the vision does not include wearing a Mao suit, carrying a migrant’s work bag, and dressing exactly like everyone else.”

How damaging this episode will be for the brand in this hugely important market has yet to be seen but it’s not the first time that Christian Dior has inadvertently offended consumers in China. Three years ago, a number of Chinese called for a boycott of Dior’s products after Sharon Stone, who was the face of its cosmetics brand at the time, suggested that a disastrous earthquake in the country had happened because of bad “karma” for the Chinese government’s treatment of Tibetans. The Hollywood actress was subsequently dropped from Dior’s adverts in China.

While Europe is still struggling recovering from financial health disease, top brands are following their way to China where the amount of spenders is increasing every day.
If you could not find "affordable luxury" to buy in China it was just because only the most unaffordable ones, were the one and only, major brands on the market.
Today, Chinese real estate owners are realising the importance of consumer expectations. They also realise that luxury does not mean "expensive and unaffordable" but mostly "ethic and quality".
The New Luxury Code we launched on this blog in 2008 was so succesfull in China, that it founds a New Luxury Movement.

50 brands and amongst them the New Luxury Experts, will participate to the Inaugural European Top Brands Cooperation Summit on the 2nd of September in Hangzhou, the wealthiest city of the Zeijian province, next to Shanghai. Even if you are not open yet, you definitely should be present and book the place. You will see many shopping malls, many airport with huge panels in state of shop window displays with the brand name and the mention "opening soon".

Shops walls are actualy for free (real estate JV) and if you don't take the place today, you will not be located next to the top of the luxury leading brands.

Shopping malls are also everywhere and it becomes real entertainement.

You can spend the all day and evening inside a shopping mall as there is entertainment for every age.

Follow me to Greece for a well being holidays !

The island of Iraklia in the Cyclades measures only 17,5 km2 with only 110 inhabitants (pictures).

On this very private and quiet surrounding there is a beautifull Villa "eco boutique hotel" that offers total relaxation. 3 studios will accommodate two or three people with their own bathroom and kitchen.

The Villa is situated at Agios Georgios, about 800m from Livadi sandy beach and 120m from the beach of Agios Georgios.

We will spend the afternoons by the beach and visit the highest mountain Papas Hill that is in the south and it is 419 meters high to watch the spectacular views of the surrounding island and sunsets.

The cave church Agios Ioannis with its stalactites just below Iraklias' highest mountain is the most important sight of the island of Iraklia. There are actually two caves that are located opposite each other, and one of them has a church bell hanging outside. The Agios Ioannis Cave is the largest cave in the Cyclades.

Iraklia is an island for people that are looking for peace, well being and a relaxing atmosphere and that want to avoid mass-tourism. It is authentic, picturesque and has few facilities. The island is breathtakingly beautiful because of the wild, mountainous and rugged landscape. It is perfect for walking, swim, snorkel, relax, eat and experience the old Greek atmosphere.We will go fishing with the old fishermen and share a real love of nature.

On Iraklia there are no petrol station, no taxis or bus service. Iraklia is an island for walkers and sometimes scooters are for rent. If you want to sail around the entire island there is the possibility to go by fishing boat and stop at some of most unknown beaches.

After the success of the first Private-Art-Preview, I have the pleasure to invite you again to my private space to meet the painter Katrin Straub with the exhibition "Spring at last!". You probably remember seeing Katrin in C'est du Belge. You will discover the sensibility and tangibility of painting: the intensity of pigments, the luminousness of laquer, the layers and textures of different surfaces, and finally the brushstrokes or scratched lines - marks of the artist's hand.

Katrin Straub is a graphic designer with an MFA in media science whose work has been awarded and exhibited worldwide. Centered on letter-forms and symbols, her work makes use of relief and collage-like techniques to evoke a tactile response not usually associated with text and typography.

"I am fascinated by the visual forms in text, particularly where the meaning is enigmatic or ambiguous. My work challenges the common perception of written language, focusing on the contours and shapes of symbols and text fragments rather than their overt content - inviting or even compelling the viewer to make her own interpretation."

Katrin Straub est une "graphic designer" diplômée en communication dont les oeuvres ont été primées et exposées
dans le monde entier. Son travail sur les lettres et les symboles se sert du relief et des techniques du collage afin de provoquer
un effet tactile qui n'est plus aujourd'hui associé aux textes et à la typographie.

"Je suis fascinée par les formes visuelles dans les textes, en particulier lorsque le sens en est énigmatique ou ambigu.
Mon travail change la perception commune que l'on a du langage écrit et se concentre sur les contours et les formes des symboles
et des fragments de textes plutôt que sur leur contenu manifeste,
de manière à inviter, et même obliger le spectateur à trouver
sa propre interprétation de l'oeuvre."

This is a picture from an article called "Rescuing Hug".
The article details the first week of life of a set of twins. Apparently, each were in their respective incubators, and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby's heart rate stabilized and her temperature rose to normal.
Let us not forget to embrace whose whom we love.

The Gentry Eagle was engineered and built by racing legend Tom Gentry who went on to set nearly every powerboat speed record. This monumental vessel shattered the transatlantic crossing record in 1989 completing the journey from Ambrose Lighthouse at the entrance to New York Harbour to Bishop Rock on England's Isles of Scilly 62 hours & 7 minutes. In his victory, Tom, along with Norman Gentry, took the Blue Ribbon away from the British airline and music tycoon Richard Branson of Virgin.

The vessel has an impressive 11,500 horsepower and a top speed of 73 mph. It measures 112' in length and is fitted with twin 3,480 horsepower MTU turbo diesels coupled with a 4,500 horsepower turbine combined to propel it to over 63 knots (70+ mph). The matchmaking of Gentry Eagle and Thierry Mugler is one of several design projects to come from the Weyves Couture. GORILLAS

Gorillas and their environment are part of the essential luxury we really need to protect.
Following the recent killing of a gorilla family in the Virunga (Congo), we are looking for funding to build a research center to protect gorillas.
We already have support from several African countries. The Virunga is Rwanda-Congo-Uganda territories. Gorillas are free to go from one side to the others and there is no real borders. The research center will study the way gorillas are using their sense of smell to heal themself and to discover new medicinal plants.
The olfactory research center is conceived to welcome scientists as well as incentives. The lodge will be run as an hotel and will give work to a lot of people in the region.
The project was initiated by The Perfume Foundation but could be share with any donnor or investor
Have the chance to share the essential luxury of living in a lodge in the research center to feel the difference. We lost this peacefull instinct of survival but as long they are there we can still learn from them... Get back you inner peace in spending time with me in the equatorial forest. Look at the pictures and support the project.

Some people don't know, some people are afraid of love.

In order to be, YOU - MUST - BE
-The one who doesn't know has sometime never been loved and has no idea how love looks like, except the pictures, the words, sex..
Lack of a mother, of a father, he/she has to learn and to be loved for both. Teach your kids telling them you love them, they need it they will tell you "I love you" when they feel love.

-The one who is afraid to love and to commit himself, to really love from his soul like the first time. He/she was probably hurted by someone and thinks more about protection and security than about love.

If you forgive you will forget and start to love as the first time. Like a kid with no fears. Real feelings.
Being liberated by these two heavy luggages, you will enjoy to love freely and to be simply, the real you.
Love fully with no limits. People will look at you so differently, you will immediately feel the change in their eyes too. The more you give, the more you will get in the most unexpected way. You will feel so beautiful, so happy, you will be you again.

The people of Arabia have embraced fragrant Oud oils for centuries. Trade routes to obtain fragrant goods were established throughout Arabia & the Middle East long before 1500 BC.

It was not until the 10th century AD that the first true perfume extract

was created, when famous physician philosopher Ibn Sina, known in the West as Avicenna, improved the process of distilling oil from the petals of roses. Traffic on what was referred to as the “Incense route” – from Arabia to the Indian Ocean, then the markets of the Roman Empire – went on swelling by the 3rd century AD, as demand increased for incenses & fragrances. The people of Arabia created their own perfumes using oud, sandalwood, amber, musk & roses. Popularity of Oud based fragrance grew from here.
Oud-based fragrances have long been a major occupation for the notables of Arabia.

Depuis deux ans et demi, chaque jeudi, j'organise un diner au Barsey à Bruxelles.
Je voulais réunir mes amis et aussi ceux que je n'avais pas encore rencontrés et que j'avais hâte de découvrir, les membres de ASW et tous les gens actifs de passage qui pensaient que Bruxelles était une ville triste le soir. Mais toutes les villes sont tristes, lorsqu'on a pas d'amis.
J'aime ces moments, ceux où ils se dévoilent, parlent d'eux, se découvrent un peu et partagent ce qui les anime, leur passion, leur métier, ce qu'ils aiment au plus profond d'eux mêmes. Ces rencontres sont essentielles et ces diners sont pour moi comme un parfum, où chaque essence de fleur, chaque personne que l'on associe en fait un diner différent, un instant magique.

Souvent l'on dit que je suis perfectionniste à l'extrême, mais pour que ce concept de diners fonctionne, il faut que tout soit vraiment parfait. Que ce soit le choix du champagne, des vins, du menu, la décoration de la table, l'environnement, les lumières, le service, l'accueil des invités, le fait que personne ne s'ennuie par manque d'attention.. Rien ne peut déranger ces moments privilégiés.
Le luxe essentiel nécessite cette exigence de qualité.

Comment un Spa peut-il répondre aux critères de luxe qui caractérisent son image?
Quels sont les qualités qui font d’un centre de bien-être, un endroit de prédilection ? Pourquoi et comment les préférez?
En quelques phrases, une enquête autour de la planète nous a révélé le vrai luxe des spas.
Le spa est un appel vers la relaxation, le bien-être.
Le bien-être signifie se sentir bien au travers de l’ensemble de nos sens : la vue, l’ouïe, l’odorat, le toucher.
Le but ultime est de se recentrer sur soi-même, de retrouver l’harmonie en se retrouvant comme dans un cocon, à l’intérieur de soi-même.
La vue : Les lumières doivent être tamisées, les endroits éclairés à la bougie sont ceux qui ont le plus de charme. La présence d’eau, de bouddhas, de pétales de fleurs, d’art et de beauté... de tout ce qui provoque en nous l’harmonie par la vision est essentielle dans chacune des pièces du spa.
La présence de caméra dans les pièces de relaxation est à éviter car il suscite un sentiment d’insécurité et il n’est jamais apaisant de se sentir épié ou filmé lorsque l’on se relaxe.

L’ouïe : Le son doit être présent mais semblable à un murmure, il doit nous rassurer. Les bruits de la nature, de l’eau, du vent, des vagues, les cris de dauphins peuvent remplacer les symphonies ou y succéder mais rien ne doit distraire l’imaginaire et la paix intérieure du client. Lors des soins, il est primordial que la masseuse ou l’esthéticienne parle peu. Evitez les masseuses bavardes qui troublent cette recherche de bien-être et de plénitude et vous font oublier l’importance du ressenti de chaque geste, chaque pression apporté sur l’une ou l’autre partie de votre corps.

L’odorat : Le sens olfactif est très important dans la sensation du bien-être. Se sentir bien passe par l’olfaction. Des bougies parfumées si elles ne le sont pas trop sont parfaites, des diffuseurs à parfums s’ils sont extraits naturels sont les bienvenus. L’eucalyptus dans le hammam est indispensable car il purifie l’air ambiant et tue les microbes.
Chaque essence doit être utilisée parcimonieusement en connaissance des qualités thérapeutiques de la plante.
Certaines plantes calment, d’autres excitent et revigorent...

Le toucher : Le sens du toucher est très important, pas seulement l’effet de vos doigts sur la serviette de bain, la douceur du peignoir sur la peau, le toucher de vos pieds sur le bois ou la pierre froide du sol. Il faut que tous vos sens soient au calme et que rien ne soit dérangeant. Le sens du toucher est très important car en une seconde, il peut faire vaciller l’équilibre de chacun de vos autres sens. Sortir du hammam chaud et avoir froid par exemple est très disturbant. La différence de température doit être progressive, pas violente. Se voir appliquer un soin au yaourt glacé sur le visage est absolument dérangeant. Favorisez les soins réfléchis, évitez les soins à la mode. Veillez à ce que tout soit parfaitement étudié pour créer l’harmonie et conserver ce bien-être, quête de votre passage au spa.

Choisissez l’essentiel, évitez le superficiel. Le but ultime du spa est de vous sentir radieux, aux anges à la sortie!
